Pastor Tyler Thomas is the Senior Pastor at Faith Temple.

He was born and raised in Prattville, AL. He doesn’t come from a preacher’s family and doesn’t have a multigenerational heritage in the Apostolic faith. His mother was a “bus kid” in Pensacola, FL and his father didn’t become a believer until his later teens. When Pastor Thomas was in his teenage years, he began to feel God speak to him about a desire to use his life. He attended Jackson College of Ministries, and then Gateway College of Evangelism. Immediately after college, he married Vanessa and they moved to Fall River, MA where they served in many different ministry capacities. Before his departure, he served as Assistant Pastor at Christ Temple as well as the Youth President over the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. After 15 years of serving in the North East, they began to feel the voice of God speak to them about a change in their lives. Shortly after, he became Senior Pastor in Dubuque, IA at Faith Temple. Pastor Thomas has a passion to help others establish a relationship with Jesus and to discover His purpose in their lives. His wife Vanessa and children Mikayla, Josiah, and Rylie have always served in ministry together. God has brought them to Dubuque, IA and they are blessed and excited to serve the community together.
